Project: Sherlock Holmes – "The Sign of Four" (200g Edition) Narrative Complexity & Interior Depth •Reverse (The Steam Launch Scene): This design showcases an intricate ensemble of characters. The challenge was to balance five distinct figures (including the character with the wooden leg) within a cramped, industrial setting. The level of detail—from the textures of the crates to the seagulls and the rigging—creates a rich, atmospheric "snapshot" of a 19th-century river chase.
•Obverse (221B Baker Street Entrance): A brilliant architectural shift. Moving from the Tower Bridge (on the 2oz version) to the iconic entrance of Sherlock’s residence. The symmetrical precision of the windows and the railings provides a sophisticated, formal frame for the Public Seal. Technical & Production Strengths
•Mastery of Textures: The project demonstrates a wide range of surface treatments: the heavy wool of the overcoats, the weathered wood of the barrels, and the metallic structure of the ship. This variety is essential for creating a visually interesting Antique Finish result.
•Large Format Engineering: Specifically designed for a larger diameter (200g), the composition utilizes the extra space to enhance the sense of scale. The transition from the foreground (the pipe and match) to the deep background (the building facade) is calculated to maximize the impact of Ultra High Relief.
